Sales Manager for Household Chemicals / Chemical Industry (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, your main task will be to increase the turnover, income, market share, and business profit of the company and the given business unit, in addition to finding, conducting, and maintaining various business opportunities. This includes:

  • Finding, purchasing, and selling products, identifying new business opportunities, expanding the portfolio, and maintaining existing client relationships in the chemical sector
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies for profitable growth
  • Participating in market research and competitor analysis
  • Conducting negotiations with partners and clients
  • Preparing price offers
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Participating in professional training, conferences, and other industry events
  • Achieving sales targets and preparing reports for management
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as handling contracts and orders
  • Planning and conducting client visits, followed by preparing detailed visit reports
  • Monitoring market trends and customer needs
  • Complying with regulations related to the sale of chemicals

 

Your profile

  • College or university degree in Economics and/or Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in chemical sales
  • Excellent market knowledge and business connections in the chemical industry
  • Active and confident Hungarian as well as English language knowledge (both written and spoken) 
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills 
  • Results-oriented and capable of working independently
  • Team player with a competitive spirit
  • Category B driving licence
  • It is a plus for us:
    • Experience in the sale of solvents and specialty chemicals
    • Degree in chemical engineering
    • Knowledge of the household chemical industry market, customer base and product range
    • Knowledge of another foreign language (primarily German)
